Starkweather was formed in 1989 in Philly. Known as being one of the pioneers of the metal/hardcore crossover bands, they are no slouch. Deep, dark, heavy, scary, you name it, they got it. I wonder if bands like Integrity or All Out War would even exist if this band had never been around. Crossbearer, their first LP, was released in 1992. This Sheltering Night, the most recent album, was released in 2010. If you haven't heard this band and like bands like Integrity, they are a great addition to your collection.
